GDPR requests

Please use one of the subject lines below. They are what lets us recognise a request as a data-protection matter and start the one-month clock rather than treating it as ordinary mail. Write in German or English, whichever you prefer.

Objection — remove a venue's analysis (Art. 21)

Use this if you own a venue and do not want it analysed. You do not have to justify the request in any particular way.

Use this if something we show about a venue is wrong — the wrong place, the wrong category, a number that does not match the reviews behind it.

Access request (Art. 15)

Use this to ask what we hold. Note that we keep no review text, names or profile pictures — only review identifiers and aggregate numbers.

Please include the venue's Google Maps link and your relationship to it (owner, authorised representative, or the person the reviews concern). Without the link we usually cannot tell which of several similarly named places you mean.

What happens after an objection

We confirm receipt, decide, and act within one month. Where an objection is upheld, the stored analysis is deleted, the venue is excluded from all future analysis, and we stop collecting its reviews. The exclusion is enforced in our database, so a later re-scrape cannot quietly undo it. Anyone opening the venue in our browser extension then sees a short notice instead of a score.

If you wrote a review

We do not store review text, author names or profile pictures — they are deleted once the analysis is computed. What remains is Google's own review identifiers together with aggregate counts. If you would like your reviews excluded from our analysis, write to us with the venue's Google Maps link and we will handle it as an objection.

Everything else
